I’m trying to to sign into Apple TV on my LG television. I was asked for my Apple account ID, which is my email. I accidentally added a capital C after the .com and now I can’t find a way to correct that. I keep getting asked for my password, but with the incorrect account ID I get rejected.

Try going back in the menus, then navigate to Settings﹥Reset﹥Reset (confirm).
An app reset would delete any account information, so that you can enter information again from a clean slate.
Reset the Apple TV app - Apple Support
Else delete and re-install the Apple TV app, to the same effect.
