Yellow/Green/Death Screen Interim flickering issue ( 13 Pro)
I bought my 13 Pro in Mar 2022 and within 13 months in Apr 2023 I faced a Yellow/Death screen interim flickering issue! Immediately went to service center and they confirmed no issues with the device. Went ahead and checked with 2 different apple service center as recommended by apple advisor but the result was no issues with the device. Apple service center checked my phone and confirmed no Physical damage and finally after plenty of calls and messages/emails/Chat and mental trauma along with physically exhausted after so many conversations with apple support. So many people from apple spoke to me asked me plenty of questions but results was nil. I asked several times on the route cause of this issue and after my phone turned into permanent death screen they accepted it seems like hardware issue and requires physical diagnostics by apple care hence they accepted to send my device to Bangalore for check. After verification I received the Phone after few days in Jun 2023 and they confirmed issue is resolved and understood apple took care of the same. But while checking the bill I observed my phone screen was replaced by apple and they refurbished the phone without my knowledge. I was informed issue will not occur again but to my surprise same pattern issue occured in Jan 2025 and I initiated my chat conversation with Apple care and 3 consecutive days I had been coordinating and never received the root cause of the issue why it's happening for the 2nd time and why it was not fixed earlier? And why user need to use a defective product which costs a lot. I spoke to apple care and advisors and they provided different information. And Senior Advisor can only communicate and don;t listen to customer concern and communicated apple won't take care of this issue if its 2nd time. Looks like apple screen can last hardly 1.5 years and no matter how many times u repair this and replace it the issue will reoccur and onetime they will repair it but further user should handle the cost which seems like unfair for the defective piece. What I understood so far is the phone which i had purchased seems like a defective product for which I had paid alot and apple is tricking the customers to hide the concerned issue instead of replacing the defective product they had just replaced the screen without taking consent from customer. This fixed the interim issue and for further repair customer need to pay 30+ Thousand to rectify issue. Now I look so foolish and after apple care made me run around for 2 days to the service center by not communicating the right information. I am mentally traumatised and physically exhausted with the kind of kindness which apple advisors showed by not providing right information. My hard earned money went for a toss and mental wellness is no more by using this phone. Apple has dodged me multiple times and I feel I will never use this brand in the future. Best part is! If apple has replaced the screen once and incase if you try to sell the phone through exchange it's considered as screen replacement and u lose more than 15k on exchange cost. because even apple has replaced the screen its considered refurbished according to Amazon, Poorvika etc. I am heart broken with the whole treatment and I would like to definitely escalate this issue further. Looks like apple don't produce anymore worthy phones because every version has a problem and customer end up facing consequences without choice. In the past apple products last for years but its showed its not anymore. Anyone else has faced this issue for the 2nd time and had worst experience with apple care communication?
