Bug Errors aggregation period daily

im a new mac user ive got two macbook pros

one 2016 13' macbook.running ventura os,

the other

Macbook pro 15' 2018 running sequoia 15.2

Ive partitioned the ssd preparing to install linux o.s.


Taking a quick look through analytics i find a few errors....HighEngagementCategory-1-2 and 3.

Bug type 211 another 303...giving a lot of details in report inc

system preferences

Uuids

3rd party counts and more

Can anyone steer me in the right direction as to if

I

a,should be concerned

B,should take action regarding these message logs.

C,where I can find information on what exactly these logs refer to and how to interpret them.

D,any constructive advice on avoiding any issues with my macbook.


im a new mac user and inclined to have a fiddle with whatever takes my interest and am totally open to terminal or cli use.

im keen to learn.

Don't bother installing Linux onto a 2016-2020 Intel Mac with USB-C ports.....especially the 2018-2020 T2 models since Linux support is extremely poor on them. Linux support is great for the Intel Macs without USB-C, or with the newer M-series Macs although the Asahi Linux developers are still working on Linux drivers (M-series are already much better supported than the T2 Macs).


For your 2016 MBPro, the problem may be due to you running an unsupported version of macOS since the 2016 model does not officially support Ventura unless it is actually a 2017 model.


To figure out any issues with your 2018 laptop, run the third party app EtreCheck and post the complete report here so we can examine it for possible clues. In the mean time, stay out of the Console app since the macOS system logs are not useful for troubleshooting issues these days as they contain a lot of scary sounding entries that are usually irrelevant.
