How to fix it? Works fine in chrome and on my smart TV, but not Safari.

A short link that kicks to a website from the studyhere.nyc domain gets hung up in Safari.
How to fix it? Works fine in chrome and on my smart TV, but not Safari.

Remove any add-on VPN client apps, remove any add-on security apps, and remove any Safari extensions, and try again.
Try again from a different network as well, as some groups filter their local network traffic and block websites.
It’s also possible the link shortener itself is problematic, sketchy, or busted, as those can also introduce surprises including malware and worse. And those redirection problems can also be browser-specific.
And .nyc links work correctly on Safari on iPadOS 18.2.1.
