MicroSD not appearing in the iPad file manager

I just formatted my MicroSD with extFat on IPad and I don’t understand why it’s not anymore showing in file manager. I thought about if it’s because iPads can’t read extFat but I thought when apple integrates extFat to format they would add read/edit capability too

To be recognised by iPadOS, the attached USB storage device must be formatted to FAT, FAT32, exFAT (i.e. FAT64), APFS or HFS+ with a single partition. Microsoft NTFS and other proprietary device formatting are not supported.
