Unexpected 'Sign in to Complete Purchase' screen during iPad App updates

on my iPad, while doing App-updates I get all of a sudden the screen: Sign in to Compleyte Purchade and I cannot get out if this. I did not purchase anything and certainly don’t want to purchase anything. Ik cannot get this screen to go away!

I was updating Apps and got this screen. Cannot get away from it; tried all I know.

Greyed out sign in settings tab New iPhone 15 pro max running 17.0.2. The Apple ID, iCloud, media & purchases tab is greyed out. I have restarted the phone several times and the condition persists.
