Clipboard Delay Issue: Copy-Paste Not Updating Instantly on MacBook M2

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an unusual clipboard issue on my MacBook M2. Sometime I copy something and try to paste it quickly in any app or browser, the old clipboard content gets pasted. Using both Command C > Command V and Using mouse copy > paste. It was not happened before, just after updating. Any suggestion?. It is not happening all the time, but need to redo often.

I followed your recommendation and rebooted the system in safe mode. This resolved the clipboard malfunction. Upon further investigation, I identified a potential conflict with the recently updated Loom application. Disabling its startup execution successfully restored normal clipboard functionality. I appreciate your valuable guidance and support in resolving this issue

Rebooting is the best first step in troubleshooting.

If a simple reboot of your Mac doesn’t fix things, see if the problem still happens in safe mode.

How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Safe mode will often correct weird software behavior by forcing the OS to do disk repair, clear caches and other housekeeping and temporarily disables third-party mods. When you're in safe boot, the machine won’t be at its best performance, especially with graphics, but that's expected.

Does the same thing happen while in Safe mode?

You can exit safe mode by restarting your Mac normally, then reevaluate the problem.
