iPhone 7 won’t power on

I have/had an iPhone 7, yes I know I’m old school, but I loved that phone and didn’t see any reason in changing until now. I used an iffy charger one day and it charged it really fast but then when it went dead again it will no longer take charge. Needless to say it will no longer power on. How can I get my info from that phone merged over to this new iPhone 15pro without it turning on? I can’t access Facebook or anything because I can’t remember my password. I just put in my screen lock code to access everything.

If your iPhone 7 won't turn on, you can try these steps:

  • Force restart: Press and hold the side button and volume down button at the same time for about 10 seconds, or until the Apple logo appears.
  • Charge: If your iPhone shows a low-charge battery, charge it for an hour and try again.
  • Check for damage: Look for cracks, water damage, or any foreign objects in the jack.
  • Check the charging port: Make sure the charging port isn't dirty or damaged.
  • Check the charging accessory: Make sure the charging accessory is Apple-certified and isn't damaged or defective.
  • Check the USB charger: Make sure the USB charger is designed to charge devices.
  • Update the software: Connect your iPhone to a computer and update its software.
  • Restore: Connect your iPhone to iTunes and restore it to its original factory settings.
