Do I have a cloned phone?

I got scammed by a guy pretending to be a bank employee , I gave out info . He also knows my iPhone and email. I changed my primary email to be safe . I got money back.

what I’m worried is that I called my bank 3 weeks later I went through all the automated process, then I got the agent on. He sounded like my hacker. But he did not ask personal information.

also I was scanning my phone for malware my phone started to flicker and my Apple logo when I start up my phone flickers too. But the flickering on my phone happened once.

also I clicked on a suspicious link but I didn’t give information.anyone have Verizon protection? To look for malware? Does it work?

Security Scanners for Mac:

Keep security software off of your Apple Devices. It just gets in the way on them, and there are thousands of examples on these forums of how an why. I'm not sure that there lost out there that would allow it to be scanned file-by-file. So, do this the olde-school, if you don't want to reset it.

No one has compromised it. They probably compromised your info from a broker site out there on the Web. So, what I recommend to use:

Avoiding Popups and Scam Messages and Calls:

Two Things to Try...

A. Malwarebytes Mobile Security:

If you were to use Malwarebytes Mobile Security then that may do the job, somewhat. It blocks out suspected scams, based on the sender's phone number. The paid version lets you report a number - once reported, it blocks it out, not even allowing it to go through.  Malwarebytes is created by longtime users of these forums, making it the only reliable Security Software for Apple devices. Go Here: Malwarebytes Mobile Security - App Store

B. Brave Bowser:

Try using the Brave Private Web Browser. It blocks out all sorts of junk. You can get ti directly in the App StoreBrave Private Web Browser - App Store

Phone App Downloaded:

So, what app are you using to make and receive calls? You need a cellular provider, and 5G to use this app, and it appress you have it. It may be die to no more than the most-recent iOS update. Older versions wouldn't have 5G capability, nor would you ge that service if you were in a location that did not offer it.

Reset this to Factory Settings:

Play it Safe: Forget about the scanning. I'd say just backup what need be, and then reset your iPhone to factory settings. Enable Contacts and such in iCloud Settings, prior to the reset, and then sign out of iCloud. You'd perform as instructed here, including the iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away or Trade in your iPhone or iPad – Apple Support. Take some screenshots of each home page prior to the reset. That way you can have something to refer to, when it comes to adding these apps back. I've performed quite a few resets, when suspicion has come about, and those suspicions come about when getting such calls and downloading unknown items. Create a backup of your iPhone to your computer (because iCloud does not backup everything). That way, you can have something to restore it from, should anything go wrong after the restore.
