Apple TV no longer syncing with Hue Sync Box

Just yesterday, my current gen Apple TV stopped syncing colors to my Hue Sync Box. I have the masters 8k Hue Sync Box and other video sources (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, etc) and they sync just fine.


I have the Apple TV connected to HDMI 2 on the sync box (one of two high definition HDMI ports). I have tried other ports and other cables. Nothing will sync, not YouTube, not Crunchyroll, not Netflix.


i have already tried a factory reset on my Sync Box and I’m reluctant to do a reset of my ATV as it’s my primary home hub, it’s a pain to set everything back up again.


When I enable syncing, the lights become a very dim white, like they’re on but not detecting any video. Again, works just fine with my other devices.


Any thoughts?

UPDATE: After a full factory reset (removing sync box from the hue app, holding reset button for 15 sec) and then reconfiguring it, it's back up and running for me.
