Please help me identify this keyboard on Macbook Pro 2020

Hi there, i checked a lot of apple keyboard layouts I found online, but can't find for the life of me the keyboard I have on my second hand Macbook Pro 2020. Even searched the serial number, but it doesn't tell me which keyboard configuration this is. It was supposed to be German QUERTZ, but the configuration does not match the designation on the keys :-/.

Can anybody identify this configuration?

Thanks a lot in advance!!

Apple has two German input sources -- German and German Standard. They differ in what is made by option 7890. I think you may want German Standard.

If that input source does not produce what you want, please provide details about what shift 89 and option 89 produce instead of your desired brackets.

Hey neuroanatomist, thx for your reply!!

It looks very similar to the German/Austrian layout, but there is the issue with the 8/*, 9 ( and 0 ) keys. I am used to the German layout, but the German layout uses the keys 8 and 9 for the open and closed brackets (which is the layout on your image) but this keyboard doesn't. I have put the German layout in the settings, but I get confused since the numbers and symbols are not the same as the German keyboard layout.

Thank you everyone, I think neuroanatomist is right, I have been searching and searching and I think some keys must have been switched. German and German standard both have the brackets on "8" and "9". I have been using the laptop with the german layout in the settings, but still get confused from time to time, because all my other keyboards with the german layout do show the symbols correctly on the keys.

I think I will go with the sticker options, seems this will be the least energy consuming solution.

Thank you all for your suggestions and help!!!
