How do I enable Wi-Fi calling on my iPhone?

At our house cell service is poor and, worse yet, variable; one minute we get two bars the next: no service. Home WiFi is bulletproof how do I force my iPhone to use WiFi calling?

I like this idea. I don't have time to mess with it now, but do know that Shortcuts has an action to determine the WiFi network name, to turn on and off Airplane Mode, and turn on/off WiFi. The trick would be to detect the WiFi name and then use a conditional, if it's the home network name, then turn on Airplane and turn on WiFi. If otherwise, turn off Airplane mode and re-enable WiFi.

Good to know!

Bingo! That works…now all I have to do is remember every time I come home to turn on airplane mode and every time I leave home to turn off airplane mode (at least a 1000 times a year). Is there any way to automate this to somehow prefer my home network or write a script that when on my home network would turn on airplane mode?

Im not aware of anyway to make this default, but most certainly bookmark the solution by FishingAddict, by Dragging & Dropping it to your Desktop.

AppleScript:

As for writing a script, you might be able to make an app that you can add as a login item. You should ask this in the developer forums: https://developer.apple.com/
