This never happened to me until today and I was wondering how to get it off. It’s just a little square but, when I put my phone on power off or have a dark-ish background it’s noticeable, I’m pretty sure it isn’t a screen burn in because I don’t open my phone for long periods of time. I’m not sure what to do to get rid of it so it would really help if anyone has answers, the small square is really bugging me.
From what I’m hearing, this could be a dead pixel. Take a screenshot on your iPhone, if it appears, it’s a software bug. If it doesn’t appear, it’s a hardware bug.
I understand that you are seeing the “square” even when your iPhone has been powered off.
