Recommendations for a laser jet printer compatible with a new IPad Air M2

Happy New Year!

I’m in search of recommendations for a laser jet printer to be used with my new IPad Air M2.

I rarely use a printer and I do NOT require color copies.

Thank you!

For ease of use, key to compatibility with iOS/iPadOS is support for AirPrint:

Apple AirPrint is a driverless connection protocol. A high proportion of modern printers intended for Home, SoHo and Business environments now support AirPrint:

About AirPrint - Apple Support

Simply choose an AirPrint-capable printer within your budget that has the features and capabilities that you prefer. For infrequent black-and-white printing, a basic inkjet printer might be a considerably more cost-effective option than the cheapest laser printer. HP, Epson and Brother are all popular manufacturers.

Thank you!

Yes, I have read about AirPrint - so I’m somewhat aware of that feature.

But what I’m actually searching for is someone who has purchased a printer in the past year or two, and who have been pleased with the reliability and the performance of that printer while using their IPad.

Ideally, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could recommend a specific model of printer that is currently available in the marketplace.

I am searching for a basic printer. I merely print a few documents each year.

On a related topic: I’m somewhat perplexed as to why Apple doesn’t produce a printer. One enormous advantage of being a loyal Apple consumer is the ease of compatibility between their devices - but no printer!

Everyone needs a printer.
