Can I scan directly to Apple Notes from my Brother Scanner?

I have just bought a brother MFC- J5955DW all in one printer/scanner and want to automate scanning documents into apple notes. Is that possible?

I can get them into Onenote as there is a Onenote function but the rest are then microsoft software. Don't even seem to be able to scan direct into apple files or icloud. Can someone explain how I set the scanner up to do this? I would prefer not to use the brother interface software mobile connect as this adds another level of sorting and legwork! help!

Perhaps first understand that AirPrint is a driverless printing protocol - this being used to print from your iPad to the printer.

By contrast, other functions of your other Printer (e.g. the scanner) cannot be directly accessed by your iPad - as these functions would require installation of appropriate device-driver software on the iPad (as would also be the case when using other computers with which you may be familiar, such as an Apple Mac or Windows PC). iOS/iPadOS does not provide any method by which device-driver software other than by installing a companion App provided by the device manufacturer - in this case, Brother.
