when i receive and make calls i get a icon in top left if i hit it says this phone call will be recorded! how do i disable that. and this has just been happening last 2 weeks

It's a new feature, but you don't have to use it. Just don't tap the button to record a phone call. You can read about it here --> How to record and transcribe a call on iPhone - Apple Support

Don’t press the button to record the calls if you don’t want the calls recorded.
The calls are only recorded when the button is selected. No selection, no recording.

I iOS 18.3.1 go to Settings>Apps>Phon>Call Recording. Toggle off.
