Apple Music crossfade is not consistent on iPhone

Sometimes the next song doesn't fade in but abruptly starts when the first song starts to fade out. Annoying. I was happy we finally got the crossfade feature on iphones but it just sometimes glitches like this.

iOS 26 Apple Music CarPlay Issue I upgraded to iOS 26 on my 15 Pro Max. When using CarPlay to play a playlist I created on shuffle, it sometimes skips from the middle of one song to the middle of another. On one occasion, it even played both songs simultaneously for a few seconds. Other than the OS upgrade, I haven’t changed any settings in Apple Music. Am I missing something, or is this a bug? This happened again today when coming back from lunch. There was about 20 seconds left on the song I was listening to, then it jumped to 13 seconds in to a new song.

Can't scrub ahead in songs anymore in Apple Music on iPhone I have an iPhone SE. My software is up-to-date. This just started happening to me recently (within the last month maybe). I used to be able to start a playlist, then click on the song, and a volume slider would show up, along with a scrubbing slider, so I could scrub ahead and back in the song. The volume slider is still there, but the scrubbing slider is gone. This is more than annoying. If I'm trying to share a certain spot in a song with my band, I can't get to it quickly and efficiently, and have to start the whole song over from the beginning, and wait to get to the spot I want to highlight. Any clue as to why this changed? And how do I get it back?
