iOS 18.2.1 App Cloning Issue

I just upgraded to the iOS 18.2.1. My apps are multiplying when moved & I can’t get rid of them. I’ve tried deleting & every time I download the apps, the extra clones are still there.

They aren’t clones, they are additional icons that access the same app. Are you removing them from your Home screen?
