Website logs me out immediately after logging in on Sequoia

I created an account today on TaxAct.com. Each time I try to access the account, I go through the whole log-in rigamarole (user name, password, verification code texted to my iPhone and then entered.) It all looks good and I get through to the account landing page ("Start new Return") and then IMMEDIATELY I get logged out.

It has happened with Safari, Firefox, and Chrome, in both private/incognito windows and normal windows. All applications are fully up to date.

I have turned off adblockers and malware detection software.

I am using a 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max with 64 GB RAM. The problem has occurred in both Sequoia 15.1 and 15.2.

I had no problem accessing the account on my wife's 2022 MacBook Air.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Create a new, temporary User Account on your Mac according to Add a user or group on Mac - Apple Support. Log out of your usual Account, log in to the temporary one, then attempt to log in to that site while logged in to that User Account.

Please determine if the same problems occur in "Safe Mode": Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

If the problem continues while operating in that mode, everything points to something external to the Mac itself. I don't know what that may be. EtreCheck may provide some actionable information, though I doubt it will. Thanks for the suggestions. I completely removed my adblockers, malware detection and the one other extension (single-file) that I had installed. I then rebooted. Same problem occurred, both in a private browsing window and in a regular window. Went through the suggestions on the Apple Support article you linked to. Most of these I had already tried. In particular, I had already gone through the privacy settings, the security settings and the website settings and had removed any apparent restrictions. At this point, all I can think of is to compare my privacy, security and website settings with the ones on my wife's laptop. Whatever she has set (actually, I would have set them for her when we got her MBA a couple of years ago) are working. I'll try to duplicate them on mine.

And let me say again that this is not just a Safari problem. It's occurring on all three browsers I have installed. This sounds more like a Sequoia issue.

In the meantime, I'm open to other suggestions.
