iPhone's short ringing control issue

What the heck is wrong with Apple. It has control issues!!!I have followed the extraordinary protracted process to extend the ringing on the iphone to 30 seconds. It does not work as I do not get the message that allows to continue the process. I tried all sorts of advice only to get no where. Next phone I will go to Samsung as that issue does not exist. The control of the length of ringing should be up to the customer. After all we are overpaying for a device and then paying an internet provider. I will not buy another iphone.

Apple does not control the number and/or length of time the phone rings before it goes to voicemail. That is a carrier function. You need to contact them if you wish to extend that. And they do not have a lot of room to work either. If a carrier provided you this "extraordinary protracted process", that is probably the best they can do.
