iPhone 7 Plus not updating to latest iOS

Your iPhone 7 Plus has reached the end of its support for the latest iOS operating system, and cannot be updated past iOS 15.8.3. If you want to update past that, ideally to iOS 18, you will need a newer iPhone.

Correct, as it is not compatible with iOS 16 or higher.

The latest iOS update for the iPhone 7 Plus is iOS 15.8.3.

Assuming that you have plenty of free space, the battery is fully charged and a good Wi-Fi connection.......what happens when you try to update?
