Cache files taking up 20GB of storage

While cleaning the memory to free up space on my m1 macbook, I saw that com.apple.mediaanalysisd was taking up about 20 GB of space. This is too big for a cache file under Users/me/library/containers/com.apple.mediaanalysisd/data/library/caches. How can I reduce this size?

Deleting cache Hi I have 60gb of ‘other’ items on my iMac which I’m wondering if a lot of it is cache. What is the safest way of deleting some of the cache items please?

how do I clear "other" in my storage? It's currently taking up 85GB. My storage on my Mac appears to be full but it is taken up with 85GB of "other". I've tried to clear the cache, remove .mime and .dat files, but its making little difference and it means several of my other apps don't have enough storage to work. Any suggestions? Thanks!
