“An error occurred while loading a higher-quality version of this photo/video”

i have old photos and videos from summer 2023 but i can’t see them properly or share them because of this error message and i’ve tried some of the solutions on here and they haven’t worked. does anyone know how to fix this? i’ve paid for more icloud storage and even that doesn’t work

Your iPhone may not have enough space to store all high-resolution photos and videos from iCloud.

Please compare

Settings>your name>iCloud>Manage Storage

And

Settings>General>iPhone Storage

This will give you a fair idea of how to manage your device and iCloud storage.
