iPhone StandBy Mode issues

Your phone doesn't have an Always on Display. It will go dark after a few minutes. That is expected behavior.

Standby Mode will go dark after a while if no one looks at it. Wave your had in front of it to turn it back on. Is your van moving at the time? Standby Mode won’t come on if it senses the phone is in use, such as moving.

It seems to work fine in my car, even when it's moving. I think the display relies on the accelerometer, not the GPS.
