I want a duplicates folder in my Photo App

I do not have a duplicates folder as a choice in my sidebar. How do I get one and/or add to my photo app?

I have an old iMac high sierra 10.13.6

The duplicates finder was introduced in macOS 13 Ventura, about 5 OSs after you. That's about 1½ lifetimes computer years.

Before Ventura, many of us used the trusted 3rd party app PowerPhotos ($30) which has a duplicate finder in addition to many Photos utilities. We have also successfully used PhotoSweeper ($15) which is cheaper but doesn't have all the extra utilities.

Beware of using some other duplicate finder apps which may corrupt the Photos Library.
