Which Apple Watch are you using?

Did you buy the watch new from Apple?

Did you try to type the Apple Account password on the keyboard on your iPhone?

Make sure that on your iPhone in Settings/Notifications/Apple Watch keyboard is enabled.

Then bring your iPhone near the Apple Watch. When the watch asks for the Apple Account password, you should get a message on your iPhone, asking, if you want to use the iOS keyboard to type the password and send it to the Apple Watch.

If you bought it used, did the previous owner disable the Activation Lock?
