How do I set up automatic sync of my Safari bookmarks from my iMac to my iPad?

Simply make sure that both devices are signing in to the same Apple Account for iCloud: Sign in to your Apple Account - Apple Support


Then, follow the instructions in Change which apps sync and store data with iCloud - Apple Support to make sure that Safari is enabled in the list of apps that are syncing data. Do that on both iMac and iPad. Then, wait a minute, close Safari and open it back up on each device and it should sync.
