I go to text a friend and send a text. I look ten minutes later and no reply. Why!? Because my phone went into do not disturb mode and I couldn’t receive any messages or calls.

You likely have a Focus Schedule set in place. Go to Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb > then delete any associated schedules.

I figured something out! So I had Do No Disturb picture set for the moon. When I got mad at my girl friend I removed her picture and changed it to the moon picture. So it automatically put it in Do No Disturb mode just for changing the photo to the same photo as Do Not Disturb. Crazy!!!
