Apple Weather App “Feels Like” temperature incorrect

Anyone else experiencing this? Mine regularly shows the feels like temp way below what it should be.

For example, now it is 7°c but shows a feels like of 1°. That’s all with negligible wind speeds and normal humidity for this part of the world. Oh and btw, it feels like 7°. I’m practically sunbathing.

it seems like Apple’s calculations simply subtract between 5 and 8 degrees from the actual speed to give them their reading.

Thanks Zacchy for your helpful response. Yes I’m aware there are plenty of other weather apps to use and, as such, I bemoan the demise of DarkSky which Apple bought as the foundation for their own app.

Your suggestion that I could use other apps kind of ignores the reason for my post. Apple provides a default weather app. Every other weather app can get simple things like the feels like temperature right. Apple’s app cannot. There is clearly an error in their app.

So my post isn’t about getting me solutions - it is to advise Apple to get their finger out and repair a calculation in their app that a primary school child could calculate on their fingers.

But thanks anyway for the well meaning advice.

By the way, Apple doesn’t read the community posts. This is a user to user technical forum, where users can get solutions regarding Apple products and services. If you aren’t looking for solutions, this isn’t the right place for you. If you are trying to advise Apple to make changes to the Weather app, the best place would be through this feedback portal. For starters, these aren’t Apple’s weather calculations. Apple Weather gets its data from a number of sources, mainly The Weather Channel. Apple simply relies on other sources, which aren’t always accurate. As an alternative, you can try using third-party weather apps, which are generally more reliable.
