iPhone location stuck in US after moving to Netherlands

I used to live in the United States & bought and set up my phone there. I have since moved abroad to the Netherlands. I tried to open the TikTok app today and my phone thinks I am in the US, and says I cannot use the app. Why is this? The region on my phone is set to The Netherlands. I would say maybe it is because my account on TikTok was made in the United States, but when I look in the App Store for TikTok I can’t find it either. Very confused and ****** off. I’m not in America!

What's is the Apple ID country that it is associated with?

Do not do it using your iPhone.

Change your Apple ID country online

  1. Sign in to appleid.apple.com.
  2. Tap or click Personal Information.
  3. Tap or click Country/Region.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions. You must enter a valid payment method for your new country or region.
