i tried to re install tiktok to see if it’d work, and i see that it says it’s banned when tiktok is properly functioning and is able to watch. it’s unbanned but not able to be downloaded.

Perhaps it will require more than a 2-3 minute wait.
This is not an Apple issue. TikTok has been banned in the US.

You obviously don't realize that at this point, you cannot even download it from the Google Play Store. Just like everyone else you will have to wait for it to return. Speculation on when it will return is not allowed on this support site.

No one knows exactly when. If it gets unbanned, yes, you will be able to download again.

isn’t this is a community to express concerns regarding to apple? no. i don’t expect someone to be there waiting for a decision, it’s a concern being addressed.
Well, you can “express” all you want, but as we are merely other Apple product users, we have no control over those processes.
