Is it legal to use ReiBoot to fix iOS issues? Need Help Fixing iPhone Stuck in Boot Loop!

I came across ReiBoot as a tool to fix iPhone stuck in boot loop.

Before I try it, I want to know if using third-party tools like this is legal and safe. Does it comply with Apple’s guidelines? Please help if you got any other idea!

Legal? Sure.

Smart? No. Apple won't touch your phone if you ever take it in for service. Trade in value will be zero.

Boot Loop issues are almost always hardware related. Get the phone checked out at the Apple Store or an authorized Apple service shop......before.....you consider doing anything else.

Hello echo, if your iPhone is stuck in a boot loop, it’s likely due to issues during iOS download or installation, or insufficient storage. Here’s what you can try:

  1. Use iTunes to Update or Restore Your iPhone
  • Put your iPhone into recovery mode(For iPhone 15):
  • Connect your iPhone to a computer and open iTunes.
  • Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
  • Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
  • Press and hold the Side Button until the recovery mode screen appears.

2. iTunes will detect your device in recovery mode and prompt you with options.

  • Select "Update" to reinstall iOS without erasing data.
  • If "Update" doesn’t work, choose "Restore". Note: Restore will erase all data on your device.

I’ve tried ReiBoot before, and it worked when my iPhone was stuck on the Apple logo. However, I recommend trying iTunes first or contacting Apple Support for assistance.

I've never heard of this tool before. But I'd say after reading about it, I'd say BUYER BEWARE. You couldn't pay me to use this tool. Is it legal? I guess you can do whatever you want with your iPhone. But from what I've read, they take your money and you get nothing that will really solve whatever issue you have. There really are no tools that go inside iOS to fix anything. iOS is fully sandboxed and can't be penetrated.

If you're having an issue, schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and let Apple help you directly.
