My Apple Watch Series 3 stopped displaying 24-Hour Time

Hi,

My Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) recently stopped displaying 24-hour time and only shows 12-hour time.

Here’s what I tried:

• Confirmed my iPhone displays 24-hour time.

• Toggled the 24-hour setting on/off in the Apple Watch app and on my iPhone.

• Checked that my Apple Watch is running the latest software.

• Unpaired and re-paired the Apple Watch. Also restarted it.

Nothing worked until I changed the Language & Region setting from “Mirror my iPhone” - which was set to US English - to UK English, which fixed it.

Is this a known bug with US English 24-hour time, and will it be resolved so I can revert the setting?
