I use iCloud on all my devices except Apple TV model A1469
Only because I get an error stating I need to activate my iCloud account. This issue has been ongoing for two years now. Years and the only official statement has been We’re working on it. So what’s up Apple?
I was able to sign in years ago. Had problems and factory reset and now this. I purchased this over priced device to integrate my photos on iCloud on my tv. Bah

What you are trying to do isn’t possible anymore for that model. iCloud has changed, and the system software for that model will not be updated to accommodate those changes. That model is officially obsolete and unsupported. No new software updates are coming. What works may keep working for a while, but some services will end and not be available anymore on that model. It was a model from 2013, and it has had its time. Five newer models have come after it. Consider getting a current model.
