message no backup room. Have iPhone 15 Pro max with 2 e-SIMM cards. iPhone top one in 15 series, hasn’t worked since bought year ago. Now message of no backup room ! Has 2 internal e-SIMM cards. Plus Apple account with extra data storage!

You are using your limit of available Apple iCloud Storage, and will either need to reduce your iCloud storage usage, or increase your iCloud storage subscription.
If you wish, you can back up your iPhone data directly to a local Mac or PC, as an alternative to using iCloud storage.
The use of eSIM is unrelated to iCloud storage.
If the phone itself is not working and needs repair, contact Apple Support.
Running out of iCloud storage doesn’t require a repair. It requires sufficient iCloud storage.
And if the local and iCloud storage is unfamiliar:

Ref that out of storage with 15 with 2-eSimm cards. 1 eSimm shows almost half full. Doesn’t show 2nd e-simm, this version of 15 has been a nightmare!
