Rejected Apple Pay payment not returned to sender

my mother sent me money on Apple Pay and I did not need it so i did not accept it & rejected her payment instead thinking it would go back to her and she still has not received her payment back from my rejection of her payment to me

I would like to make a refund but I don’t know where to get started i sent my mother $300 on Apple Pay and it went missing and never went through. I sent the money out of my personal bank account and transferred it into Apple Pay so that I can send it to my mom. But when I went to send the funds it didn’t work at first and said that the services were down. I then checked Apple Pay to see what the problem was and there was no money in my account and there was no receipt I believe that the money got glitched out somehow. I tried waiting but I’m down $300 now and I want to get it back as fast as possible. Please can I get some help with this.

Apple pay: declined transaction I am currently living in Japan and my billing address is complex due to my mother being put on orders with the military. Shipping things from America to my Japanese residence is quite expensive. So, I used my boyfriend's address while trying to use my card and my billing address to my card. However, the payment did not work. It had an option to do Apple Pay, so I tried to pay through Apple Pay and it took $198 out of my bank and declined my transaction. Now I want to know if I will get my money back and how long it will take for Apple Pay to refund my money.

Rejected Apple Cash transfers should be returned to the sender in 1 to 3 days.
