Account locked but still have $200

ok no idea why they decided to permanently lock my account i can’t get an answer, on top of it i have $200 on my apple pay and the lady tells me oh my tell account is lifetime locked. so in other words your stealing $200 from me?? Green dot is absolutely horrible in every way, what can i do to get my money

Depending on the state laws where you live the funds will be transferred to your states unclaimed funds account. The time before transfer varies by state and is generally between 6 and 24 months. Once deposited you can submit a claim form to your state and recover the funds.


Banks are prevented from disclosing the details and reasons for closing your account because of the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.

You’re welcome. They determined you are in violation of Apple Cash terms & conditions. That’s all the reason they need. The funds will be returned but it requires you and the bank follow the rules your state of residence has in place.
