AirPods arrived without requested engraving

I just received my brand new Apple headphones. When the order was placed, we made certain to request personalized engraving. The headphones arrived today without the engraving. What do I need to do?

Since it would not be possible to take those to the Apple Store to be engraved, your best option is to return them and try ordering, with engraving, one more time. It might be best to call the support number on the order page to allow them to help place the order. When I have done this in the past, I've received an email describing my order in detail. This will allow you to immediately spot if the engraving is missing.
