My iPhone 13 No Longer Remembers where I Parked My Car

My iPhone used to remember where I parked my car, but it doesn't anymore. I have it set up to connect to my car's blue-tooth when I get in my car, which works fine. It always connects to Blue-tooth, but it no longer remembers where I disconnected from it. (I'm assuming that's how it knows where I parked my car.) It always tells me my car is parked at my home. (Strange, because when it worked, it would forget where my car was parked when I restarted my iPhone.)

It stopped working when I got a second blue-tooth adapter for my car's audio system. My car's blue-tooth only works with my phone. For audio, it has a standard audio jack. I attached a second blue-tooth device to that because my phone's lightning port seems to be wearing out. But it seems to have broken the task of remembering where I parked. I say "seems to" because I tried removing the second blue-tooth device, then restarting both my car and my iPhone. But that didn't help.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 18.1.1

I have Significant Locations turned on

I have Show Parked Location turned on.

I found the problem. A few months ago I had connected to Bluetooth in a friend's car to play something on her car stereo. After that, the phone always showed my car parked at home because that's where she dropped me off. I fixed the problem by removing her car from the list of Bluetooth devices.

Even before this happened, I felt that the Bluetooth settings should clearly show which device is used to track the parked car. That would have avoided a great deal of confusion. Another possible fix could go in the Maps app: When it shows where the parked car is, it could include the name of the car as it appears in the list of BlueTooth devices.

I hope Apple fixes this, because when my family takes long trips in a car, the music or other entertainment will be handled by one of the passengers, through their own phone. We should be able to do this without messing up our ability to find where we parked our car, especially since we don't notice the problem until long after we've disconnected from the other car. I've been trying to fix this for months, and it never occurred to me that it didn't work because my iPhone was waiting to track my next trip in my friend's car.
