Delete messages on iPad; keep them on iPhone

How can I delete messages on my iPad and still keep those messages on my IPhone?

On your iPad, disable iCloud Messages:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Messages - set to OFF


Once iCloud Messages has been disabled, you can delete messages from the iPad without affecting the visibility of messages on your iPhone. Keeping this setting optionally enabled on the iPhone ensures that massages remain synchronised with iCloud.
