Oh, and not to mention when the cellular data is on and the phone is off, no running apps, ITS HEATING like whaaaa???

Keep in mind that it’s normal for your iPhone to experience some heat. If you do not receive a temperature warning message, you can continue to use your iPhone normally.

Please try a force restart procedure in the meantime.

  • Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  • Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  • Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo

Regarding your battery health, that should drop 1% per 50 charge cycles on average, but can decline faster based on many factors such as overheating.

Thanks. I’m aware that it is normal for the phone to heat up. The problem is the battery health. You mentioned battery health drops 1% per 50 charge cycles. Yet mine drops without even being charged. The overheating is enough to drop my battery health without the charging factor and I don’t think it’s normal.

I think you should make an appointment for diagnostics and evaluation.
