iPhone 15 Pro Max USB-C DAC issue with Amazon Music

Ever since I upgraded from my iPhone 11 Pro Max to the iPhone 15 Pro Max I haven't been able to get my iFi XDSD Gryphon to exceed 48khz in Amazon Music trying every USB-C cable I have. This exact same DAC worked perfectly getting 192Khz in Amazon Music on my iPhone 11 Pro Max using the Lightening to USB cable. I don't know how Apple hasn't fix this yet since so many people have external DAC's or headphones with built in DAC's that far exceed CD quality 48khz.

This DAC has always been restricted to 48khz over Bluetooth due to AAC restriction but when connected over USB it could achieve the higher quality music and you can tell the difference night and day when using good headphones like my HiFiMan HE500's and Sennheiser HD600's. I found another thread on here that is now closed where nobody could find a solution to resolve this issue. The best they could do was get the DAC to connect to the phone and playback audio which I was able to get working no problem. My problem is not being able to achieve the same bitrate I was able to with the older iPhone 11 on the new iPhone 15 which would have been a deal breaker had I known this was a problem before I upgraded.

Here is the closed thread where people had the same problem in 2023-2024 and never got a resolution

How do I connect my new iPhone 15 Pro to … - Apple Community

I would very much like a resolution to this problem. I don't care if I need to buy a USB-C to Lightening and Lightening to USB-C cable or some strange hub if that's what it takes to get my audio quality back since I use my phone primarily for listening to high quality music and Apple doesn't make any headphones or IEM's that come close to the audio quality this DAC is capable of with my HE500's.

If anyone knows how to get 192khz audio working again on an external USB DAC with iPhone 15+ with USB-C port instead of lightening port to match the functionality that was available on the lightening port phones using the Lightening to USB-A camera adapter, please let me know so I can stop pulling my hair out over this and start listening to music again without having to sit in front of my laptop with the DAC connected to Windows 11 via USB-C so it can utilize the high bitrate that used to be available on iPhone.

Image showing 96Khz track playing at 48Khz through USB-C DAC when it can playback at 96khz on iPhone 11 using lightening cable just fine without having to massively degrade the audio quality. Also, it says that it's outputting through wired headphones when on iPhone 11 it says it's outputting though iFi DAC. It's almost like iPhone isn't seeing it as the DAC it is and instead just throwing an analog audio signal at it using the iPhone built in chip. I can tell from the sound quality that is most likely the case. But, I need to find a way to get my DAC working with this phone again and I've wasted enough time trying everything possible and it's time to ask the nice people on the community forums for a solution or at least get a straight answer from Apple or not if they disable this functionality rendering my $500 DAC useless just because they could reducing the capability of my device that went from lightening to USB-C which should have improved it.

Thank you,
