How to tell if ipad is refurbished

I have bought a new 10th generation ipad from John Lewis. I then had two failed deliveries from well know courier service, they claimed I wasn’t in when I was. I have finally received it today and the box has one of the seals opened. I’ve checked and you can open it up and the second seal stays intact. It appeared to be wrapped properly and ipad has no marks etc on it

The device info shows

Model - iPad

Version - iPadOS 17.6.1

Serial Number GN******RP

It appears genuine on the serial number checker online, it says it has a warrenty. But I’m concerned it might have been swopped for a refurbished model. Can anyone tell me how to look at this further? Many thanks

Does the serial number printed on the box match the serial number identified in iPad settings?

Settings > General > About

If the serial numbers match, the iPad in the box matches the packaging. Be aware that refurbished/reconditioned devices are usually sold in a plain white box - with no product pictures.
