Touchpad on MacBook Pro too sensitive

Is there any way to disable trackpad while typing? I don't use an external mouse, and in settings I have "touch" on trackpad set to the firmest setting. Yet I am constantly chasing the cursor all over the page and don't always catch what I typed by mistake. Yes, it helps when I raise my fingers, but unfortunately I cannot train myself to keep them raised.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.2
