Inconsistent mouse scrolling on M2 iPad Pro with Logitech Combo Touch and Apple Magic trackpad

I have a M2 iPad Pro 12.9, running on the latest updated iPad OS 18.2.1, and I have a Logitech Combo Touch that has a mouse and keyboard on it. Mouse seems to be fine, but when it comes to scrolling, that’s when I have a problem.

It’ll either not scroll, or act like a flick scroll. Sometimes switching in between apps might resolve the issue, or I’ll have to disconnect the keyboard from the case and then re-connect it.

I called Logitech support and they had me reflash the firmware, that didn’t work. I then decided to break out my Lightning Apple Magic Trackpad, thinking that it should work flawlessly with an apple. Unfortunately I get the same issues. I’m thinking it’s a OS bug/issue. I’m going to backup my stuff tonight and reformat the iPad to see if that resolves the issue.

HOwever, I would like to say this. I had this issue when I first bought it in January 20214, so I don’t think a iPad reset will solve the problem. Kinda disappointed about this, but would love to get any tips or information on this.

I’m going to contact Apple support to see if they can do anything (which it still has Apple Care on it).

Well, I fixed the issue. I decided to reformat and restore iPad OS with no backup, and the mouse works PERFECTLY! Not sure why, but I’m guessing some corrupted OS Settings or something, because now it’s 100% consistent, and the scrolling is super sharp!

I also tried reinstalling iPadOS and then restored with my iCloud backup and the mouse stopped working like it did before. So I’m not sure what setting caused the bug, but I’m happy to have my combo touch work 100%.
