Iphone Chat and Internet Notifications Hi, i just got a 15 pro max (first time ios user) and I observed that the phone does not respond to ping from my router when the screen is locked. I read somewhere from the community that this is how iphones are designed, it will turn off wifi radio when screen is locked as a battery saving feature. While i was on my home wifi, i did a continous ping from my home router, it timed out when i locked the screen (no cellular data).. i gues at this point it is no longer getting internet connection.. but when i send a chat message to my facebook mesenger or google chat or anything that requires internet, i still get those messages in my iphone and my iphone starts to respond to ping. Does anyone have any idea how this thing works? Does iphone silently or ocassionally connects to the internet gateway to check if there are notifications from tour apps? Just curious.

Phone pings even when DND is on and sound switch is turned off iphone 14 OS 17.6.1 -- Focus/Do Not Disturb is set to ON. The switch on upper left of phone is switched to red-OFF, so all sounds should be silenced. But pings from iMessages texts still sound. How to fix?
