iPad Overheating with Apple Pencil in Apple Notes and Freeform App

Just started using the Pencil pro in iPad Pro M4 the screen gets very hot in the middle rendering the ability to rest the palm when writing. The Battery discharges rapidly once it gets hot, tired all the ways mentioned in the forum but nothing rectified it. Hope Apple rectifies these basic issues. Any only else facing the same? Using the iPadOS 18.2.1 (22C161).

iPad overheating while using Apple Pencil! I’m using iPad Air M2 with the Apple Pencil Pro. After recent updates to iPadOS 18, iPad is abruptly overheating whenever I’m using the pen. Initially the problem was for the notes app only but now, whenever I use the pen, be it for simple scrolling around news article, iPad is getting significantly overheated. Ipad Air M2 overheating with pencil pro Recently, I bought an iPad Air M2 six generation with a pencil pro and I am noticing that when I’m using apps like Freeform or Apple notes with handwriting, my iPad is getting hot close to the camera and even in some occasions, the brightness of the screen is getting lower automatically. I reviewed this issue on Internet, and I found that this is known issue since the iPad was released, however, that was a few months ago and multiple updates have been released so I believed that the issue was already addressed. Unfortunately, it seems not. Pd: as a consequence, the battery of the iPad is draining extremely fast while doing handwriting with pencil pro Am I right or there is way to stop this overheating issue at the moment? thanks in advance
