How to turn off Assistive Touch on iPad

In settings I believe I setup an ‘adaptive’ mode where my main screen shows about 35 apps and has a ‘custom’ ‘device’ bubble in the lower right hand corner that when selected displays a STAR and a DEVICE icon. When I select the STAR I get (5) actions I can select like “Pinch and Rotate”, “Double Tap”, etc and if I select the arrow the display box reverts to the ‘Custom’ ‘Device’ option mentioned above. HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS ‘ADAPTIVE’ mode and return to the original iPad display???🙏

Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response.

If your dscription means you are using Assistive Touch: You can ask Siri to turn it off ... or on.

Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Assistive Touch is where you would have turned it on (or can toggle it off)
