Face ID missing in the system settings on my iPhone 14 Pro

I do not see my Face ID settings on my 14 Pro. It is my personal phone, it is allowed in the Screen Time/Privacy and Security, I have upgraded to 18.3, reset setting and really don't know what to try next. My Face ID is working, but I cannot access the setting anyhow.

OK. Crucial detail which was missing in every single how to I have gone through so far (incl. Mr Finch's answer), once you play around with that Allow/Not Allowed settings for FaceID and Password in Settings/Screen/Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions, you have to WAIT for lets say 30 sec after the change.

What worked for me was, change it to Not Allowed, WAIT 30 sec!, then turn it back on.

Seems that you read only the title. If it was that easy I would do it already.

No, I read your text where you said you checked it is allowed in the Screen Time/Privacy and Security

As there is no such setting I posted where the actual setting should be. And if it says Allow switch it to Not Allowed, then switch it back. (new information)

And you also didn’t answer as to whether you have a business or school email account on your phone (even if it is a personal phone), because that gives the email administrator control over many security settings on your phone.

But, as you are dissatisfied with my suggestions, I won’t respond again.

I admit I was too lazy to go through all the setting, so I wrote the path in Settings as I remembered it. Hoped it was obvious.

I have tried to do Allow/NotAllow trick as well of course, so unfortunately this is not a new information.

I wrote it is my personal phone. It means I bought it for my personal use with my personal account. Nobody should have any sort of control over it. Hoped that was clear too.

With no offense what you suggested is basic troubleshooting which is available all around the internet, so I would not bother the community with a question which was answered a zillion times already.

If you have some idea how to sort this out it would be appreciated. But feel free to feel offended by my dissatisfaction with your answer.

The experience here is that most people come here first before even a basic google search. There's a couple of live threads about the TikTok app where the community has posted numerous times on a dozen pages of questions the legal reasons why TikTok isn't available and still people are posting new posts to the thread asking why they can't get TikTok. Apple even put a banner up at the top of the boards explaining it. However, people haven't read this or even read a single post - and just asked the same question that was asked and answered two posts up and on the previous 5 pages of questions. People here have no idea whether you're like that or someone who's spent hours trying to fix your problem and this is your last resort, so maybe cut them a bit of slack cos they're trying to help.

Glad you got it fixed and thanks for coming back with how you did it - lots of people don't bother.
