Calendar on my iPhone changed to Chinese Calendar

I have added birthdays and anniversaries in i-calendar before without problem. This time it only have me the option for the Chinese calendar. how do I change back to the traditional American calendar?

iPhone displaying dates in Hijri instead of Gregorian My iPhone's day and date system has somehow switched to using the Hijri calendar and I can't seem to get it to switch back. I even turned off Alternate Calendars in the Calendar settings yet the issues remains. What could I do to fix this?
